Mykonos Helicopter Transfer

The stylish isle of fun

With only about 10,000 residents, Mykonos does not seem to be a hot spot at first sight. However, during summer season the island turns into one of Europes most important holiday hotspots and changes its vibe completely during high season in July and August. The small streets of the city center become alive specially at night with hundreds of restaurants, bars, shops and tourists.
With its bohemian style, Mykonos makes the perfect stretch between luxury and  holiday leisure - giving you the opportunity to dress up at night and enjoy daytime in swimwear. Mykonos is well-known for beautiful beaches, luxurious resorts and summer party atmosphere.

It is also home to some of our helicopters.

Helicopter to Mykonos Windmills

Windmills

One of Mykonos most present sight are the windmills, which can be seen from nearly any spot within the town of Mikonos.
Being the first thing you see by entering the harbour of the island.  There are currently 16 windmills on Mykonos of which seven are positioned on the landmark hill in Chora. Most of them were built by the Venetians in the 16th century, but their construction continued into the early 20th century. They were primarily used to mill wheat. They were an important source of income for the inhabitants. Their use gradually declined until they ceased production in the middle of the 20th century. The architecture of each of them is similar, all have a round shape, white colour and a pointed roof and very small windows.

Sightseeing of Mykonos

Blue & White Mikonos City

Almost every building on the island of Mykonos is white with blue windows and balconies, becoming bright dots in the landscape of rocks and sands. The white color perfectly reflects the colors of sunset, changing the vibe for nightlife.

In the city of Mikonos you can stroll around hundreds of narrow streets, showing new facets at every corner. Make sure to get your orientation together, but do not worry in case you get lost. The streets will always bring you back to the place you started. The worst thing that could happen by getting lost is to find a beautiful hidden restaurant, boutique or art gallery.

The city center is also a famous place to go at night, giving hundreds of options to enjoy some Souvlaki at one of its iconic taverns, or enjoy some Ouzo and signature cocktails at the famous Little Venice quarter of Mykonos, gathering many bars and small night clubs within narrow streets directly at the waterfront.

Mykonos Beaches Inspiration

White sands and turquoise water

Not only all buildings are dipped in white and blue, but also the water setting the color theme of Mykonos to the national colors of Greece.

The island is famous for its beautiful beaches with great beach clubs to enjoy the sun on relaxing day beds. Make sure to reserve your chair a few days in advance. The beaches are not very crowded in the mornings, usually most people arrive around 11:00 giving you the chance to sleep in after a long night out in the city center.

All beaches in Greece are public, giving you also the chance to find a less crowded spot somewhere at the turquoise water.
But do not miss the vibrant atmosphere and luxurious drinks and foods of the islands beach clubs.
